Remove four lag bolts (Figure 6, Item 4), four lock washers (Figure 6, Item 3, and four lat washers (Figure 6,
Item 2) detaching work surface (Figure 6, Item 16) from 4 drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6) and 4 drawer
cabinet (F) (Figure 6, Item 7).
5.
Remove work surface (Figure 6, Item 16) from top of 4 drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6) and 4 drawer
cabinet (F) (Figure 6, Item 7) .
6.
Remove four bolts (Figure 6, Item 17), eight lat washers (Figure 6, Item 18), four lock washers (Figure 6,
Item 3), and four nuts (Figure 6, Item 20) detaching two cabinet brackets (Figure 6, Item 19) from 4 drawer
cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6) and 4 drawer cabinet (F) (Figure 6, Item 7) .
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
1.
If cabinet brackets (Figure 6, Item 19) can be repaired by welding, weld damaged area IAW TM
1-1500-204-23. Repair must not interfere with form, it, or function of cabinet brackets (Figure 6, Item 19).
2.
Paint repaired cabinet brackets (Figure 6, Item 19) IAW WP 0056 00, Figure 1.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install four bolts (Figure 6, Item 17), eight lat washers (Figure 6, Item 2), four lock washers (Figure 6, Item 3),
and four nuts (Figure 6, Item 20) securing four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6) and four drawer cabinet
(F) (Figure 6, Item 7) together.
2.
Install four bolts (Figure 6, Item 17), eight lat washers (Figure 6, Item 18), four lock washers (Figure 6, Item
3), and four nuts (Figure 6, Item 20) securing two cabinet brackets (Figure 6, Item 19) to four drawer cabinet
(E) (Figure 6, Item 6) and four drawer cabinet (F) (Figure 6, Item 7).
3.
If a new work surface (Figure 6, Item 16) must be installed:
a.
Position work surface (Figure 6, Item 16), inished side up, on top of four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6,
Item 6) and four drawer cabinet (F) (Figure 6, Item 7).
b.
Ensure work surface (Figure 6, Item 16) is lush with back and sides of four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6,
Item 6) and four drawer cabinet (F) (Figure 6, Item 7).
c.
On inside of four drawer cabinet (F) (Figure 6, Item 7), mark two hole placements (Figure 6, Item 1) in
top of cabinet on non-inished side of work surface (Figure 6, Item 16).
d.
On inside of four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6), mark two hole placements (Figure 6, Item 5) in
top of cabinet on non-inished side of work surface (Figure 6, Item 16).
e.
After four hole placement marks (Figure 6, Item 1 and 5) have been made, lip work surface (Figure 6,
Item 16) over with non-inished side up.
f.
On non-inished side of work surface (Figure 6, Item 4) at four marked hole placements (Figure 6, Item 1
and 5), center punch and drill four 5/16 inch holes to a depth of 3/4 inch.
g.
Return work surface (Figure 6, Item 4) inished side up, on top of four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item
6) and four drawer cabinet (F) (Figure 6, Item 7).
4.
Align bolt holes (Figure 6, Item 1 and 5) of work surface (Figure 6, Item 16) with bolt holes on top of four
drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6) and four drawer cabinet (F) (Figure 6, Item 7).
5.
Install four lag bolts (Figure 6, Item 4), four lock washers (Figure 6, Item 3), and four lat washers (Figure 6,
Item 2) securing work surface (Figure 6, Item 16) to four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6) and four drawer
cabinet (F) (Figure 6, Item 7).
6.
If new four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 6, Item 6) and /or four drawer cabinet (F) (Figure 6, Item 7) must be
installed:
a.
Use holes (Figure 6, Item 8 through 15) of existing work surface (Figure 6, Item 16) to determine drill bit
sizes.
