INSTALLATION
6 DRAWER CABINET (C), 3 DRAWER CABINET (D), SHELF CABINET
(D), AND 4 DRAWER CABINET (E) (SC4920-99-CLA69)
1.
Install four bolts (Figure 4, Item 12), eight lat washers (Figure 4, Item 6), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item
2), and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 14) attaching shelf cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 9) to three drawer cabinet (D)
(Figure 4, Item 15).
2.
Install four bolts (Figure 4, Item 12), eight lat washers (Figure 4, Item 6), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item 2),
and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 14) attaching three drawer cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 15) to four drawer cabinet
(E) (Figure 4, Item 11).
3.
Install four bolts (Figure 4, Item 12), eight lat washers (Figure 4, Item 6), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item 2),
and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 14) attaching six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7) to three drawer cabinet
(D) (Figure 4, Item 15).
4.
If new six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7) has been installed:
a.
Use holes of existing work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) to determine drill bit sizes.
b.
Match drill holes of work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) through six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7).
5.
If a new work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) mounting to six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7) must be installed:
a.
Position work surface (Figure 4, Item 5), inished side up, on top of six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item
7) and bench leg assembly (Figure 4, Item 4).
b.
Ensure work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) is lush with the side and back of six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure
4, Item 7) and the back of bench leg assembly (Figure 4, Item 4). The work surface (Figure 4, Item 5)
should have approximately one inch over hang on the outside of the bench leg assembly (Figure 4, Item
4). The work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) should also over hang the front of six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure
4, Item 7) and bench leg assembly (Figure 4, Item 4) 2.25 inches.
c.
On inside of six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7) , mark four hole placements (Figure 4, Item 8) in
top of cabinet on non-inished side of work surface (Figure 4, Item 5).
d.
On underside of bench leg assembly (Figure 4, Item 4), mark two hole placements (Figure 4, Item 17) on
outside of bench leg assembly (Figure 4, Item 4). Mark one hole placement (Figure 4, Item 16) at inside
center.
e.
After seven hole placement marks have been made, lip work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) over with
non-inished side up.
f.
On non-inished side of work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) at seven marked hole placements, center punch
and drill seven 5/16 inch holes to a depth of 3/4 inch.
g.
Return work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) inished side up, on top of six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item
7) and bench leg assembly (Figure 4, Item 4).
6.
Align bolt holes of work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) with bolt holes on top of six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4,
Item 7) and bench leg assembly (Figure 4, Item 4).
7.
Install four lag bolts (Figure 4, Item 1), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item 2), and four lat washers (Figure 4,
Item 6) securing work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) to six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7) .
8.
Install three lag bolts (Figure 4, Item 1), three lock washers (Figure 4, Item 2), and three small lat washers
(Figure 4, Item 3) securing work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) to bench leg assembly (Figure 4, Item 4).
9.
If new four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 4, Item 11) has been installed:
a.
Use holes of existing work surface (Figure 4, Item 10) to determine drill bit sizes.
b.
Match drill holes of work surface (Figure 4, Item 10) through four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 4, Item 11).
10. If a new work surface (Figure 4, Item 10) mounting to four drawer cabinet (E) (Figure 4, Item 11) must be
installed:
