REMOVING EXTERNAL GROUND ROD
NOTE
Shelter is grounded through externally connected power supply.

Removing External Grounding Rod.
1.
On power entry panel (Figure 6, Item 1) remove nut (Figure 6, Item 2), lock washer (Figure 6, Item 3), and lat
washer (Figure 6, Item 4) from ground stud (Figure 6, Item 7).
2.
Disconnect ground cable lug (Figure 6, Item 5) from ground stud (Figure 6, Item 7).
3.
Replace lat washer (Figure 6, Item 4), lock washer (Figure 6, Item 3), and nut (Figure 6, Item 2) on ground
stud (Figure 6, Item 7).
4.
Remove grounding rod (Figure 6, Item 6) from ground.
5.
Store grounding rod assembly in shelter BII box.
