On non-inished side of work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) at eight marked hole placements, center punch
and drill eight 5/16 inch holes to a depth of 3/4 inch.
f.
Return work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) inished side up, on top of shelf cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 6).
3.
Align bolt holes of work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) with bolt holes on top of shelf cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 6).
4.
Install eight lag bolts (Figure 4, Item 1), eight lock washers (Figure 4, Item 2), and six lat washers (Figure 4,
Item 3), and two small lat washers securing work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) to shelf cabinet (C) (Figure 4,
Item 6).
5.
Install four bolts (Figure 4, Item 8), eight lat washers (Figure 4, Item 4), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item 2),
and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 9) securing two cabinet brackets into shelf cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 6).
6.
If new cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 6 must be installed:
a.
Use holes (Figure 4, Item 14, 15, and 16) of existing work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) to determine drill bit
sizes.
b.
Match drill holes of work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) through cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 6).
7.
If a new work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) must be installed:
a.
On inished side up, position back left bolt hole of machinist s vice 18.50 inches from left side of work
surface (Figure 4, Item 5) and center front right bolt 3.00 inches from front of work surface (Figure 4, Item
5). Mark three placement holes (Figure 4, Item 14, 15, and 16). Set aside machinist s vice.
b.
Center punch and drill three 1/2 inch holes (Figure 4, Item 14, 15, and 16) through work surface (Figure
4, Item 5) and shelf cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 6).
8.
Install hardware attaching shelf cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 6) to shelter wall and loor IAW WP 0035 00,
Cabinets C and D Hardware, REMOVAL.
9.
Install drawers, slides, and shelves as necessary (Drawers, Slides, And Shelves, INSTALLATION).
10. Install kick plate (Kick Plate, INSTALLATION).
