INSTRUCTIONS FOR ROADSIDE RACK ASSEMBLY - (CONTINUED)
NOTE
Ensure threads of bolts are not damaged prior to reinstalling bolts.
1.
Place SECM roadside rack assembly (Figure 19, Item 1) on roadside wall and ensure mounting holes
are aligned.
2.
Install six 1/2-20 X 1.00 inch hex head bolts (Figure 19, Item 2), six 1/2 inch spring lock washers
(Figure 19, Item 3), and six 1/2 inch lat washers (Figure 19, Item 4) in bottom of SECM roadside rack
assembly (Figure 19, Item 1) securing SECM roadside rack assembly (Figure 19, Item 1) to shelter loor.
Torque bolts 40 - 45 ft. lbs.
3.
Install four 1/2-20 X 1.75 inch hex head bolts (Figure 19, Item 5), four 1/2 inch spring lock washers
(Figure 19, Item 3), four 1/2 inch lat washers (Figure 19, Item 4), four spacers (Figure 19, Item 7) and four
hold down clamps (Figure 19, Item 6) in back of SECM roadside rack assembly (Figure 19, Item 1) securing
SECM roadside rack assembly (Figure 19, Item 1) to roadside wall. Torque bolts 40 - 45 ft. lbs.
4.
Install seven 1/4-20 X 1.75 inch pan head screws (Figure 19, Item 11), seven self clinching nuts
(Figure 19, Item 15), two drawer slide mounting plates (Figure 19, Item 12) and twelve shims
(Figure 19, Item 10).
5.
Install four drawer slides (Figure 19, Item 8), sixteen 1/4-20 X 0.63 inch low head screws (Figure 19, Item 9)
and sixteen self clinching nuts (Figure 19, Item 15).
6.
Install two shelf assemblies (Figure 19, Item 14), sixteen 1/4-20 X 0.50 inch low head screws (Figure 19, Item
13) and sixteen self clinching nuts (Figure 19, Item 15) attaching two shelf assemblies (Figure 19, Item
14) to bottom of SECM roadside rack assembly.
