LOAD CONSTRAINT BARS
Hitch Pin
Hairpin
NOTE
Constraint bars are not provided nor required for ASLMS bulk pallet containers.
Load constraint bars are designed to keep drawers from sliding out during transport. The load constraint
bars are located in the center of each row of drawers. Load constraint bars are full height vertical bars
fitting into a lower receptacle and retained in place using a pin system located at the top of the bars.
1.
2.
Remove the hairpin.
3.
With one hand, retain constraint bar into position.
4.
Grasp the hitch pin with free hand and remove. Hitch pin is secured to the restraint bar by a security
lanyard, and so may be released after removing.
5.
With both hands, remove the load constraint bar from its receptacle.
WARNING
Fall or tripping hazard may exist when the load constraint bars are not properly stowed
during operation. Ensure that load constraint bars do not protrude when stowed.
