Fabricate from steel metal bar, NSN 9510-00-541-9655.
3. Deburr edges.
WARNING
Use only type 1.1.1 trichloroethane solvent. Never use
portable degreaser with solvent in it unless ventilation
fan is turned on. Breathing solvent vapors will cause
unconsciousness, prolonged skin contact with solvent will
cause irritation, and taking solvent internally will cause
vomiting.
4.
Degrease with type 1.1.1 trichloroethane (item 1, app D).
5.
Apply one coat primer coating (item 14, app D), followed by two
coats black lacquer (item 10, app D).
6.
Mark with black stencil marking ink (item 17, app D) as follows.
