USING THE BRUSH HOOK

To use the brush hook on a tree branch, lift the
curve of the hook above the branch and make
short, chopping strokes downward against the
surface of the branch.

To cut small brush or bushes, swing the brush
hook horizontally. The hooked portion will keep
the brush from bouncing away from the cutting
edge.
CARE OF BRUSH-CUTTING TOOLS
1.
Repair all nicks and dulled cutting edges immediately.
2.
For prolonged storage, coat metal parts with light oil.
3.
Replace defective handle immediately.
