INSPECTION OF INSTALLED ITEMS CONTINUED
CONTINUED
1.
Inspect 10 ton press (Figure 1, Item 1) and hand pump (Figure 1, Item 8) for damage. Replace as necessary.
2.
Inspect 10 ton press hardware (Figure 1, Item 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11) for rust, cracks and rounded heads.
Replace as necessary.
REMOVAL
1.
To remove 10 ton press (Figure 1, Item 1), remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 13), four upper lat washers
(Figure 1, Item 12), four lower lat washers (Figure 1, Item 9), four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 10) and four
nuts (Figure 1, Item 11).
2.
To remove hand pump (Figure 1, Item 8), remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 2) from the front side of the pump,
two bolts (Figure 1, Item 3) from the back side of the pump, four upper lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4), four
lower lat washers (Figure 1, Item 5), four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 6), and four nuts (Figure 1, Item 7).
INSTALLATION
1.
To install 10 ton press (Figure 1, Item 1), align bolt holes of 10 ton press (Figure 1, Item 1) with bolt holes in
work surface. Install four bolts (Figure 1, Item 13), four upper lat washers (Figure 1, Item 12), four lower lat
washers (Figure 1, Item 9), four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 10), and four nuts (Figure 1, Item 11).
2.
To install hand pump (Figure 1, Item 8), align bolt holes of hand pump (Figure 1, Item 8) with bolt holes in work
surface. Install two bolts (Figure 1, Item 2) in the front side of the pump, two bolts (Figure 1, Item 3) into the
back side of the pump, four upper lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4), four lower lat washers (Figure 1, Item 5),
four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 6), and four nuts (Figure 1, Item 7).
