INSPECTION OF INSTALLED ITEMS CONTINUED
1.
Inspect brake machine table assembly (Figure 1) for damage. Replace as necessary.
2.
Inspect all brake machine table hardware (Figure 1, Item 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, and 10) for rust, cracks and rounded
heads. Replace as necessary.
REMOVAL
NOTE
Brake machine and brake adapter plate must be removed before removing support table
assembly.
1.
To remove brake machine (Figure 1, Item 1), with adapter plate (Figure 1, Item 5), remove four bolts (Figure
1, Item 10), eight lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4), four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 3), and four nuts (Figure
1, Item 9).
2.
To remove adapter plate (Figure 1, Item 5) from brake machine (Figure 1, Item 1), remove four bolts (Figure
1, Item 6), four lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4), four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 3) and four nuts (Figure 1,
Item 2).
3.
To remove support table (Figure 1, Item 7), remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 8), four lock washers (Figure 1,
Item 3), and four lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4).
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
1.
If support table (Figure 1, Item 7) can be repaired by welding, weld damaged area IAW TM 1-1500-204-23.
Repair must not interfere with form, it, or function of support table (Figure 1, Item 7).
2.
Paint repaired support table (Figure 1, Item 7) IAW WP 0068 00, Figure 3.
INSTALLATION
1.
Align bolt holes of support table (Figure 1, Item 7) with loor insert holes.
2.
Install four bolts (Figure 1, Item 8), four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 3), and four lat washers (Figure 1, Item
4) attaching support table (Figure 1, Item 7) to shelter loor.
Torque bolts (Figure 1, Item 8) 160-190 in. lbs.

Attach adapter plate (Figure 1, Item 5) to brake machine (Figure 1, Item 1) by installing four bolts (Figure 1,
Item 6), four lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4), four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 3) and four nuts (Figure 1, Item
2).
5.
Align bolt holes of adapter plate (Figure 1, Item 5) with bolt holes on support table (Figure 1, Item 7).
6.
Install four bolts (Figure 1, Item 10), eight lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4), four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 3),
and four nuts (Figure 1, Item 9) attaching brake machine (Figure 1, Item 1) to support table (Figure 1, Item 7).
