INSPECTION OF INSTALLED ITEMS CONTINUED
1.
Inspect storage cabinet (Figure 1) for damage. Replace as necessary.
2.
Inspect all storage cabinet hardware (Figure 1, Item 2, 3, 4, 6, and 7) for rust, cracks and rounded heads.
Replace as necessary.
REMOVAL
1.
Remove storage cabinet (Figure 1, Item 1) by removing six bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), six lock washers (Figure
1, Item 3), and six lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4) from inside storage cabinet (Figure 1, Item 1) detaching
storage cabinet (Figure 1, Item 1) from wall.
2.
Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), two lock washers (Figure 1, Item 3) and two lat washers (Figure 1, Item
4) from mounting brackets (Figure 1, Item 5).
3.
Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), four lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4), two lock washers (Figure 1, Item 6),
and two nuts (Figure 1, Item 7), detaching two mounting brackets (Figure 1, Item 5).
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
1.
If mounting brackets (Figure 1, Item 5) can be repaired by welding, weld damaged area IAW TM
1-1500-204-23. Repair must not interfere with form, it or function of mounting brackets (Figure 1, Item 5).
2.
Paint repaired mounting brackets (Figure 1, Item 5) IAW WP 0059 00, 4.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install two bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), four lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4), two lock washers (Figure 1, Item 6),
and two nuts (Figure 1, Item 7), attaching two mounting brackets (Figure 1, Item 5) to storage cabinet (Figure
1, Item 1).
2.
Install two bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), two lock washers (Figure 1, Item 3) and two lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4)
to mounting brackets (Figure 1, Item 5), attaching storage cabinet (Figure 1, Item 1) to loor.
3.
Install six bolts (Figure 1, Item 2), six lock washers (Figure 1, Item 3), and six lat washers (Figure 1, Item 4)
to inside storage cabinet (Figure 1, Item 1) mounting storage cabinet (Figure 1, Item 1) to wall.
Torque bolts (Figure 1, Item 2) installed into shelter, 160-190 in. lbs.
