Tie Down Assemblies
1.
Inspect buckles (Figure 1, Item 1) and latch mechanisms (Figure 1, Item 3) of tie down assemblies for
proper operation.
2.
Inspect tie down assemblies to ensure they are properly attached to strap fastener loops (Figure 1, Item 4).
3.
Inspect tie down assemblies to ensure webbing material (Figure 1, Item 2) is free from dry rot, frays, cuts
or rips.
4.
If damage is found on tie down assemblies, remove and replace damaged tie down assemblies.
END OF TASK
REMOVE
1.  Release latch mechanism (Figure 1, Item 3) of tie down assembly.
2.  Remove webbing material (Figure 1, Item 2) from buckles (Figure 1, Item 1) of tie down assembly and
strap fastener loops (Figure 1, Item 4).
3.  Remove tie down assembly.
END OF TASK
REPLACE
1.  Feed webbing material (Figure 1, Item 2) of tie down assembly through strap fastener loops (Figure 1, Item
4).
2.  Feed webbing material (Figure 1, Item 2) of tie down assembly through buckles (Figure 1, Item 1) of tie
down assembly.
