REPAIR.
a. Inspect guard (3) for damage or distortion. Replace as necessary.
b. Inspect neoprene insert (8) for wear or cracks. Replace as necessary.
c. Inspect shaft keys (9 and 10) for distortion. File any nicks or burrs for snug fit in shaft keyway. Replace keys as
necessary.
INSTALLATION.
a. Install shaft keys (9 and 10) in keyways.
b. Install coupling halves (7) onto shafts aligned with shaft keys.
c. Install neoprene insert (8) between coupling halves (7).
d. Insert bushings (5 and 6) into coupling halves (7).
e. Tighten capscrews (4) securing coupling halves (7).
f.
Install guard (3) and secure with capscrews (1).
g. Check for smooth operation upon compressor startup.
