REMOVAL CONTINUED
45 DEGREE ANGLE ADAPTER CONTINUED
1.
Move main circuit breaker to OFF position.
2.
Remove four machine screws (Figure 3, Item 1) attaching 60 amp receptacle (Figure 3, Item 2) to 45 degree
angle adapter (Figure 3, Item 3).
3.
With machine screws (Figure 3, Item 1) removed, pull 60 amp receptacle (Figure 3, Item 2) out of 45 degree
angle adapter (Figure 3, Item 3) until wire lug terminals (Figure 3, Item 5) and wires (Figure 3, Item 4) are
exposed.

NOTE
Replaced lugs are identiied by letters "X", "Y", and "Z" with ground connections being identiied
by color green. Black wire will be attached to "X", red wire will be attached to "Y", and blue wire
will be attached to "Z".
4.
Loosen all lugs (Figure 4, Item 3) on 60 amp receptacle (Figure 4, Item 1) and remove wires (Figure 4, Item
2).
