Remove work surface (Figure 4, Item 13) from top of cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7) and cabinet (D) (Figure 4,
Item 6).
6.
Remove four bolts (Figure 4, Item 14), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item 3), and eight lat washers (Figure 4,
Item 2) and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 17) detaching two cabinet brackets (Figure 4, Item 16) from cabinet (C)
(Figure 4, Item 7) and cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 6).
7.
Remove four bolts (Figure 4, Item 14), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item 3), eight lat washers (Figure 4, Item
2), and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 17) detaching cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7) from (D) (Figure 4, Item 6).
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
4 DRAWER CABINET (C) AND 4 DRAWER CABINET (D)
1.
If cabinet brackets (Figure 4, Item 16) can be repaired by welding, weld damaged area IAW TM
1-1500-204-23. Repair must not interfere with form, it, or function of cabinet brackets (Figure 4, Item 16).
2.
Paint repaired cabinet brackets (Figure 4, Item 16) IAW WP 0063 00, Figure 6.
INSTALLATION
4 DRAWER CABINET (C) AND 4 DRAWER CABINET (D)
1.
Install four bolts (Figure 4, Item 14), eight large lat washers (Figure 4, Item 2), four lock washers (Figure 4,
Item 3), and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 17) securing cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7) to cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item
6).
2.
Install four bolts (Figure 4, Item 14), eight large lat washers (Figure 4, Item 15), four lock washers (Figure 4,
Item 3), and four nuts (Figure 4, Item 17) securing two cabinet brackets (C) (Figure 4, Item 16) to cabinet (C)
(Figure 4, Item 7) and cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 6)..
3.
If a new work surface (Figure 4, Item 13) must be installed:
a.
Position work surface (Figure 4, Item 13), inished side up, on top of cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7) and
cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 6).
b.
Ensure work surface (Figure 4, Item 13) is lush with the side and back of cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7)
and cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 6).
c.
On inside of cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7) , mark four hole placements (Figure 4, Item 1) in top of cabinet
on non-inished side of work surface (Figure 4, Item 13).
d.
On inside of cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 6), mark two hole placements (Figure 4, Item 5) in top of cabinet
(D) (Figure 4, Item 6) on non-inished side of work surface (Figure 4, Item 13).
e.
After dour hole placement marks have been made, lip work surface (Figure 4, Item 13) over with
non-inished side up.
f.
On non-inished side of work surface (Figure 4, Item 13) at four marked hole placements, center punch
and drill four 5/16 inch holes to a depth of 3/4 inch.
g.
Return work surface (Figure 4, Item 5) inished side up, on top of cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7) and
cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 6).
h.
Align bolt holes of work surface (Figure 4, Item 13) with bolt holes on top of cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7)
and cabinet (D) (Figure 4, Item 6).
i.
Install four lag bolts (Figure 4, Item 4), four lock washers (Figure 4, Item 3), and four lat washers (Figure
4, Item 2) securing work surface (Figure 4, Item 13) to six drawer cabinet (C) (Figure 4, Item 7).
4.
If either a new cabinet (C) (Figure 3, Item 7 or cabinet (D) (Figure 3, Item 6) has been installed:
a.
Use holes (Figure 3, Item 8 through 12) of existing work surface (Figure 3, Item 13) to determine drill bit
sizes.
