INSPECTION OF INSTALLED ITEMS CONTINUED
1.
Ensure rivets (Figure 1, Item 1) are secure.
2.
Inspect for damage that will deem melamine board (Figure 1, Item 2) non-operational. Replace if necessary.
REMOVAL
NOTE
Refer to TM 1-1500-204-23 for procedures to remove rivets.
1.
Remove fourteen rivets (Figure 1, Item 1)
2.
Remove melamine board (Figure 1, Item 2) from bookcase (Figure 1, Item 3).
INSTALLATION
1.
Prepare melamine board (Figure 1, Item 2) for mounting IAW WP 0059 00, 6.
2.
Match drill holes from old melamine board (Figure 1, Item 2) to new melamine board (Figure 1, Item 2).
3.
Align rivet holes of melamine board (Figure 1, Item 2) to holes on back of bookcase (Figure 1, Item 3) and
hold in place.
4.
Install fourteen rivets (Figure 1, Item 1) into predrilled holes attaching melamine board (Figure 1, Item 2) to
back of bookcase (Figure 1, Item 3).
