INSTALLATION
Electrical Plug Connector
1.
Strip 1 1/2 in. of outer insulation from power cable (Figure 6, Item 4).
2.
Strip 1/2 in. of outer insulation (Figure 6, Item 3) from ive wires (Figure 6, Item 2) inside power cable (Figure
6, Item 4).
3.
Install back shell (Figure 6, Item 8) to power cable (Figure 6, Item 4).
4.
Install threaded sleeve (Figure 6, Item 9) to back shell (Figure 6, Item 9).
5.
Place lock washer (Figure 6, Item 10) inside threaded sleeve (Figure 6, Item 9).
6.
Place threaded lock ring (Figure 6, Item 11) on connector end (Figure 6, Item 12).
7.
Crimp ive pins (Figure 6, Item 1) to ive wires (Figure 6, Item 2).
8.
Insert wires (Figure 6, Item 2) through rear of connector (Figure 6, Item 12) in the following order:
a.
Insert black wire into pin A receptacle.
b.
Insert red wire into pin B receptacle.
c.
Insert orange wire into pin C receptacle.
d.
Insert white wire into pin D receptacle.
e.
Insert green wire into pin E receptacle.
9.
Tighten connector end (Figure 6, Item 12) to threaded sleeve (Figure 6, Item 9).
10. Tighten back shell (Figure 6, Item 8) to threaded sleeve (Figure 6, Item 9).
11. Secure electrical plug connector (Figure 6, Item 13) to power cable (Figure 6, Item 4) by installing two clamps
(Figure 6, Item 6), two screws (Figure 6, Item 5) and two nuts (Figure 6, Item 7).
12. Perform operational checks.
