THEORY OF OPERATION
SYSTEM THEORY
The AV SECM rack assembly is installed in the M1079A1 van to provide mobile storage and work space for
mission essential aviation ground support equipment. This equipment is used to conduct unit-level aircraft contact
maintenance. The equipment can be transported as individual components to support speciic maintenance
missions. The AV SECM rack assembly can be readily removed from the M1079A1 to perform maintenance on
the assembly itself or to return the vehicle to the original coniguration.
