NOTE
For single loop strap fastener replacement, proceed to the applicable install task(s) located in
this work package after the remove task has been completed.
1.
Select drill bit with the same diameter as the installed blind rivet (Figure 4, Item 1).
2.
With appropriate drill bit, drill through center of rivet (Figure 4, Item 2) just deep enough to sever blind
rivet (Figure 4, Item 1) head from shank.
3.
Remove remainder of blind rivet (Figure 4, Item 1) from hole with a pin punch.
