INSPECTION OF INSTALLED ITEMS CONTINUED
CONTINUED
1.
Inspect open throat hydraulic press (Figure 1) for damage. Replace as necessary.
2.
Inspect open throat hydraulic press hardware (Figure 1, Item 3, 4, 5, 6,7, 8, 10, 11 and 12) for rust, cracks
and rounded heads. Replace as necessary.
REMOVAL
1.
To remove open throat hydraulic press (Figure 1, Item 2), remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 5), four lock
washers (Figure 1, Item 4), four top-mounted lat washers (Figure 1, Item 3), four under-mounted lat washers
(Figure 1, Item 14), and four nuts (Figure 1, Item 13).
2.
To remove hand pump (Figure 1, Item 9), remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 8) from the front side of the pump,
two bolts (Figure 1, Item 10) from the back side of the pump, four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 7), four top
mounted lat washers (Figure 1, Item 6), four under-mounted lat washers (Figure 1, Item 11), and four nuts
(Figure 1, Item 12).
INSTALLATION
1.
To install open throat hydraulic press (Figure 1, Item 2), align bolt holes of open throat hydraulic press (Figure
1, Item 2) with bolt holes in work surface (Figure 1, Item 1).
2.
Install four bolts (Figure 1, Item 5), four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 4), four top-mounted lat washers (Figure
1, Item 3), four under-mounted lat washers (Figure 1, Item 14), and four nuts (Figure 1, Item 13).
3.
To install hand pump (Figure 1, Item 9), align bolt holes of hand pump (Figure 1, Item 9) with bolt holes in work
surface (Figure 1, Item 1).
4.
Install two bolts (Figure 1, Item 8) in the front side of the hand pump, two bolts (Figure 1, Item 10) into the
back side of the hand pump, four lock washers (Figure 1, Item 7), four top-mounted lat washers (Figure 1,
Item 6), four under-mounted lat washers (Figure 1, Item 11), and four nuts (Figure 1, Item 12).
