6, Item 9 and 12) from aluminum rails (Figure 6, Item
8 and 13).
4. Loosen and separate two corner castings (Figure
6, Item 7 and 14) from aluminum rails (Figure 6, Item
8 and 13).
5. Loosen and separate two corner castings (Figure
6, Item 9 and 12) from aluminum rail (Figure 6, Item 10).
6. Loosen and separate two corner castings (Figure
6, Item 7 and 14) from aluminum rails (Figure 6, Item
6 and 15).
7. Loosen and separate two corner castings (Figure
6, Item 16 and 18) from aluminum rails (Figure 6, Item
6 and 15).
8. Loosen and separate two corner castings (Figure
6, Item 7 and 14) from aluminum rail (Figure 6, Item 11).
9. Loosen and separate two corner castings (Figure
6, Item 16 and 18) from aluminum rails (Figure 6, Item
19 and 20).
10. Loosen and separate two corner castings (Figure
6, Item 22 and 23) from aluminum rails (Figure 6, Item
19 and 20).
11. Loosen and separate two corner castings (Figure
6, Item 16 and 18) from aluminum rail (Figure 6, Item 17).
12. Loosen and separate two corner castings (Figure
6, Item 22 and 23) from aluminum rail (Figure 6, Item 21).

ASSEMBLY
WARNING
SECM curbside rack assembly weights 310 lbs. Disassemble and assemble rack assembly in
layers while inside of van to allow for safe lifting IAW MIL-STD-1472.
CAUTION
Do not use a drill for assembly.
NOTE
Spring sheet nuts are used to lock aluminum rails to corner castings. Always place one spring
sheet nut in groove of corner casting before inserting into aluminum rails during reassembly.
Use a rubber mallet to secure all connections.
If aluminum rails are replaced during reassembly, it is required to match drill new aluminum
rails using support plate(s) and/or shim(s) before installing support plate to the SECM curbside
rack assembly.
If necessary, use 10-32 tap to clean helical.
