Remove hardware attaching cabinet (E) (Figure 5, Item 7) to shelter loor and wall IAW (WP 0037 00, Cabinet
(E) and (F) Hardware, REMOVAL).
4.
Remove four lag bolts (Figure 5, Item 4), four lock washers (Figure 5, Item 3), and four lat washers (Figure 5,
Item 2) detaching work surface (Figure 5, Item 12) from cabinet (E) (Figure 5, Item 7).
5.
Remove work surface (Figure 5, Item 12) from top of cabinet (E) (Figure 5, Item 7) and cabinet (F) (Figure 5,
Item 6).
6.
Remove four bolts (Figure 5, Item 13), four lock washers (Figure 5, Item 3), eight lat washers (Figure 5, Item
14), and four nuts (Figure 5, Item 16) detaching two cabinet brackets (Figure 5, Item 15) from cabinet (E)
(Figure 5, Item 7) and cabinet (F) (Figure 5, Item 6).
7.
Remove four bolts (Figure 5, Item 13), four lock washers (Figure 5, Item 3), eight lat washers (Figure 5, Item
2), and four nuts (Figure 5, Item 16) detaching cabinet (E) (Figure 5, Item 7) from cabinet (F) (Figure 5, Item
6).
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
4 DRAWER CABINET (E) AND 4 DRAWER CABINET (F)
1.
If cabinet brackets (Figure 5, Item 15) can be repaired by welding, weld damaged area IAW TM
1-1500-204-23. Repair must not interfere with form, it, or function of cabinet brackets (Figure 5, Item 15).
2.
Paint repaired cabinet brackets (Figure 5, Item 15) IAW (WP 0058 00, Figure 1).
INSTALLATION
4 DRAWER CABINET (E) AND 4 DRAWER CABINET (F)
1.
Install four bolts (Figure 5, Item 13), four lock washers (Figure 5, Item 3), eight lat washers (Figure 5, Item 2),
and four nuts (Figure 5, Item 16) securing cabinet (E) (Figure 5, Item 7) and cabinet (F) (Figure 5, Item 6).
2.
Install four bolts (Figure 5, Item 13), four lock washers (Figure 5, Item 3), eight lat washers (Figure 5, Item
14), and four nuts (Figure 5, Item 16) securing cabinet (E) (Figure 5, Item 7) and cabinet (F) (Figure 5, Item 6).
3.
If a new work surface (Figure 5, Item 12) must be installed:
a.
Position work surface (Figure 5, Item 12), inished side up, on top of cabinet (E) (Figure 5, Item 7) and
cabinet (F) (Figure 5, Item 6).
b.
Ensure work surface (Figure 5, Item 12) is lush with the side and back of cabinet (E) (Figure 5, Item 7)
and cabinet (F) (Figure 5, Item 6).
c.
On inside of cabinet (E) (Figure 5, Item 7) , mark two hole placements (Figure 5, Item 1) in top of cabinet
on non-inished side of work surface (Figure 5, Item 12).
d.
On inside of cabinet (F) (Figure 5, Item 6), mark two hole placements (Figure 5, Item 5) in top of cabinet
(F) (Figure 5, Item 6) on non-inished side of work surface (Figure 5, Item 12).
e.
After four hole placement marks have been made, lip work surface (Figure 5, Item 12) over with non-
inished side up.
f.
On non-inished side of work surface (Figure 5, Item 12) at four marked hole placements, center punch
and drill four 5/16 inch holes to a depth of 3/4 inch.
g.
Return work surface (Figure 5, Item 12) inished side up, on top of cabinet (E) (Figure 5, Item 7) and
cabinet (F) (Figure 5, Item 6).
4.
Align bolt holes of work surface (Figure 5, Item 12) with bolt holes (Figure 5, Item 1 and 5) on top of cabinet
(E) (Figure 5, Item 7) and cabinet (F) (Figure 5, Item 6).
